Full Time Retail Sales Manager

About You:

Green Envee, an upscale luxury skin care + aromatherapy brand focused on Clean Beauty, is looking for an outgoing, creative, and dedicated individual to join our team.  We craft all natural, pure, potent, plant active luxury skin care and body care.

Creating great sales and assisting your associates is your priority.  Our way of generating great sales is to make sure our “guests” have a memorable experience. You are responsible for creating an experience for our guests + holding staff accountable for creating memorable experiences as well.   Green Envee sales are a high consultation setting – you greet your customer and stay with them during their enter purchasing process to educate and consult with them on our unique products.

We are looking for someone who will lead by example and run the boutique as if it was their own.  Extensive retail experience is preferred. Relevant experience managing a smaller boutique brand is ideal.  The store manager is responsible for every aspect of the store. The following are some requirements for this position:

  • Strong interpersonal skills + communication abilities
  • Manage + motivate staff
  • Maintain an outgoing and friendly disposition with all customers
  • Be able to stay on your feet for long periods of time, being accessible on the sales floor

  • Lead by example + implement the standards set forth in the policies and procedures manual
  • Actively seek out sales opportunities on the sales floor by engaging conversations with our guests
  • Perform cashier duties, store opening + closing procedures, and insure the proper handling of cash and sales receipts, accurately count tills + make change for customers after a transaction
  • Maintain a clean + safe store for all visitors
  • Merchandise products and window displays for peak interest
  • Use time efficiently between customer interactions to continually straighten + fill merchandise when needed
  • Ability to inspire + train sales associates
  • Develop + implement employee evaluations
  • Ability to cross-sell coordinating products
  • Meet + Exceed sales goals
  • Schedule employees
  • Flexibility, adaptability + ability to work days, nights, weekends + holidays
  • Maximize personal + store sales
  • Write schedules that maximize sales results based on team + individual strengths

Part Time Retail Sales Associate - Geneva, IL

About You:

We are looking for fabulous sales associates to join our team. The main objective of this position is to be driven and passionate about sharing the love of Green Envee. Sales associates represent the image, products, and culture of the company to the customer. The primary role is customer service and sales, achieved through exceptional customer engagement and communication skills and product knowledge.

  • Provide welcoming, personal, professional service to all customers at all times
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, listen to the customer, ask questions, investigate preferences and make the experience interactive
  • Seek opportunities to make an emotional connection with the customer
  • Obtain customer data for Green Envee customer database
  • Meet your individual responsibility for your appropriate contribution to the team’s goals in terms of service, sales and company objectives
  • Give great internal customer service and develop good working relationships with colleagues
  • Actively participate in store theme days, events and new product launches
  • Actively participate in cleaning displayer units throughout the day, and more thoroughly at night to prepare for next day’s business
  • Maintain tester units
  • Maintain proper placement and condition of merchandise on counter, in stock rooms and all stock holding areas
  • Inform management of any store maintenance or Health and Safety issues which might lead to accidents
  • Assist with inventory counts
  • Be responsible for booking demos and lessons
  • Adhere to proper security procedures regarding handling of cash and assets
  • Assist daily in stock and maintain appropriate levels throughout the day
  • Communicate low on stock and out of stocks to the Retail Manager
  • Assist in the proper rotation of stock
  • Merchandise products and displays.
  • Keep the store clean and organized.
  • Be able to re-position track lighting for best product display.
  • Be able to switch out signage based on season, promotion, etc.
  • Have the ability to weight and measure raw ingredients for the custom aroma bar.
